The Helix is a land transformation project to improve the connections between and around 16 communities in the Falkirk area, including being the gateway to the East end of the Forth and Clyde canal. The most visible feature of the development are the two unique sculptures known as The Kelpies, created by Glasgow artist Andy Scott. Standing at 30m tall they are the worlds tallest equine structures.
The Helix is both a community space and a tourism destination, with locals using the paths daily as well as visitors flocking to visit the Kelpies and experience the Kelpies Tour.
