Jubilee Park and Nature Trail

Since the creation of the Jubilee Park & Nature Trail in 2000 the area has now matured establishing many forms of habitat for flora and fauna in the wetland, woodland, parkland and meadow areas. The park is maintained and managed by volunteers (Friends of Jubilee Park) and is used for practical training by students from the local college. Local schools also visit the site for learning and recreational purposes. The area has been added to over the years with the inclusion/provision of community allotments and the purchase of a further 3.25 hectares of natural habitat which will become part of JP&NT.
