This is a rough outline of what a three year Pesticide-Free plan could look like in order to deliver an effective programme of pesticide reduction and eventual cessation of use across your town, city or borough. It has the council as the driving force, but looks to involve multiple stakeholders to broaden the initiative and make it as comprehensive as possible.
Who are Pesticide Action Network UK?PAN UK is the only UK charity focused solely on tackling the problems caused by pesticides and promoting safe and sustainable alternatives.They campaign for change in policy and practice in the UK and overseas, contributing their wealth of scientific and technical expertise to reducing the impact of harmful pesticides and pushing for a pesticide-free future.
